When we encourage people to plan ahead for missions (save money, plan
the date, get a passport, etc.) we get responses like,
"That's a great idea." or "I'll apply for my passport
next week." or even "I'll pray about it."
But we wonder if in secret they are thinking, "Are you serious?
You want me to plan ahead? You want me deviate from my
routine? You want me to make a sacrifice for the sake of the
gospel? God bless you, but no thanks."
This makes us even more grateful to all of you who have served and
continue to serve with us. We can't do it without you and we pray
to the Lord of the harvest to continue to raise up workers like many of
you to join us in the field.
We really
need to staff the January and February events NOW! Please
prayerfully (and quickly) consider joining us January 11-20 and/or
February 15-24. The deadline for these is October 1, but please
don't wait.
In the
last update, I invited you to share the message and the video with some
