Take a moment to pray for us.

Safely in Texas

April 23, 2018

Romans 12:9 Love must be sincere.  Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.  10 Be devoted to one another in love.  Honor one another above yourselves. 11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor,  serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope,  patient in affliction,  faithful in prayer.  13 Share with the Lord's people who are in need.  Practice hospitality.

You may have seen news about protests in Nicaragua as a result of the government changes to their social security system.  Please pray for our brothers and sisters in Nicaragua.  They are not in real danger of harm from protests, but transportation and commerce are disrupted making it difficult to buy food or other necessities.

Trisha and I had already planned to return to the U.S. and are safely at home.

I (Jody) had the privilege of preaching at Retta Baptist Church yesterday (Sunday) and will do so again next Sunday (April 28).

We are monitoring the situation in Nicaragua through the U.S. Embassy in Managua and through our many friends in Nicaragua.  We plan to return to Managua soon.

We are grateful for the many who have expressed concern for us and we covet your continued prayers.

Blessings,

Jody and Trisha
